What is the event about?
The Summit is a two-day residential Leadership Intensive for women in technical roles — senior individual contributors, staff and principal engineers, and engineering managers. The program is built on the premise that sustained technical judgment is a physiological and social achievement, not only an intellectual one. For more details, see our Why now? page.
When and where will the event take place?
The event is in person in Atlanta, GA, November 6–8, 2026. Attendees are encouraged to attend the welcome reception on Friday, but it is not required. Attendees will need to arrive by Friday night.
How can I register for the event, and what is covered?
Select the appropriate registration at the bottom of the Registration section. There are two rates: one for BCH Members, and the other is for Non-BCH Members. This experience is available to everyone.
Registration covered professional development curriculum (2 workshops), food and lodging from Friday through Sunday, transportation to and from the Summit venue on Saturday, and transportation to the airport on Sunday. Attendees will be required to cover their round-trip travel to Atlanta and travel to Friday's welcome dinner & reception, which is >10 mins from the hotel. Join us in Atlana!

Can my company pay for my registration?
You can absolutely have your company, employer, or sponsor pay for your registration. Reach out to info@blackcomputeHER.org with the subject, Please Send Invoice, with your request and the name of the person or people whose registration will be covered. We will send an invoice for payment.
How do I convinve my employer to support my participation in this Summit?
First, have a look at our Why Now? page. If you'd like more information, we have a package that you can send your manager in support of your participation. This is a leadership development opportunity, which would generally fall under L&D, conference/travel, or ERG budgets.
Registration
The 2026 Leadership Intensive is available to BCH members ($500) and non-members ($750). Our introductory rate is substantially lower than comparable experiences, because we want to lower the barrier to entry for women across a range of experience in design and tech — from entry-level designers and engineers to executives.
Registration includes professional development curriculum, lodging and meals, transportation, so the price you see is a deeply discounted rate for the weekend's experience. You deserve it!
