Danielle Davis, Esq. is the Founder of AI Policy for Black Women (AIP4BW), an organization that focuses on the intersection of AI, law, and culture in U.S. technology policy. AIP4BW’s work broadens the conversation on ethics and AI by introducing new frameworks for examining solutions to algorithmic bias in AI and automated decision making technology.
Danielle currently serves as the Tech and Telecom Policy Counsel for the Multicultural, Media, Internet and Telecom Council (MMTC), the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving equal opportunity for people of color and women in the mass media, telecommunications, and technology industries. As Policy Counsel, Danielle supports MMTC’s work on three focus areas in the tech, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors.
Prior to joining MMTC, Danielle served as the Tech and Telecom Policy Fellow for the National Council of Negro Women and most recently for the National Urban League Washington Bureau, where she assisted in the release of the Lewis Latimer Plan for Digital Equity and Inclusion, a comprehensive plan to address the digital divide.
